Alright i got ahold of a 92 Talon TSI AWD for dirt cheap and im going to be swapping the 6 bolt into my 95 Talon TSI AWD. The question i got for you is that the 6 bolt tranny is automatic so i was wondering if the 7 bolt clutch will mount to the flywheel so that i can do a 5 speed conversion on it? I have heard that it will but i wanna make sure. I have an ACT 6 Puck disc and ACT pressure plate. This is probably a dumb question but i figured that i would ask. Thanks

wont it already have a flywheel since im getting the whole car? that is what i was wondering pretty much. the automatic transmission has a flywheel right? im not to familiar with automatics that is why i ask.

The motor from an auto will have a flexplate and torque converter instead of a flywheel so you will need a 6 bolt awd flywheel. Your clutch will bolt up fine after you get the 6 bolt flywheel. There is also a ring in the center of the crank that centers the flexplate on an auto, you will have to remove that ring from the crank before installing the flywheel.

This is correct.

The flex plate is only about .07" thick. That is less than half the thickness of a flywheel for these cars. And the flex plate won't have threaded holes for the pressure plate to mount to.
