Is it possible to remove the piston by taking off the oil pan and undoing the bearing caps and pushing the piston out of the motor. I was told that it is possible to do this but it is not recommended. I have taken off the head of my 1990 Plymouth laser 2.0 turbo and one of the pistons has some buildup on the top. The valves from that piston had a lot of buildup on it and there seemed to be oil in places it shouldn't be. I will post pics tomorrow. There was quite a bit of oil in the turbo as well.....that seemed odd to me. At anyrate, please help this Newb out!!!! Thanks ya'll!
so I would do it right the 1st time and save ya self a head ace!
