can i put a turbo head on a na 2.0 and will a turbo head off a 7bolt fit a 6 bolt

A 7-bolt 1g head? Fits.
A 2g 7-bolt head? Should Fit. (but, making it work would be more of a PITA!!!)
Turbo head on NA. Fits. (will need to plug the turbo oil supply line off the side of the head with the plug from the NA head.)

If he meant by NA motor the 420a than how can a turbo head=4G63 ever fit?

The timing gears are on opposite ends of the head.

Or does he mean something else?

He has a 1g... And the 1g came with a 4G63 NT. No where did he specify 420A.

Ok 2g turbo head will fit a 6 bolt block but if i remeber correctly the head stud holes have to be meachined to fit

Ah, didn't notice he was a 1g.

Ok 2g turbo head will fit a 6 bolt block but if i remeber correctly the head stud holes have to be meachined to fit

Also the intake ports are smaller therefore you either have to port the hell out of it. Or use the 2g intake manifold on the 1g. Like I said it would be more of a PITA then just getting the proper head.

hay guys sorry i didnt specifi more clearly i was in a hurry i was wondering this for a friend a work couz he has bunches of 1st gens and a couple of 2nd gens and one of the second gens was a turbo 4g63 and crankwalked and slung a rod berring but has a good top end and was wondering if he could bolt a good 6bolt turbo bottom end under it. and i was just wondering about if a 1st gen 4g63 or 2nd gen 4g63 turbo head would fit my non turbo 4g63 i was just wondering this i wasnt planning on doing exatly

New to the dsm's but not cars. I gotta cyclone motor in my 1g and when i replaced the head gasket my tubo oil feed line well where the banjo bold goes is stripped out. ANy of you guys got a good idea on how to fix? I'd appreciate it a lot.
