ebay oil return kit (noob)

i purchased an oil line return kit from ebay, and i cant figure out how to get the threaded hose ends attached to the braided hose itself. i know its a really noob question but i cant figure out how to do it without thinking its going to leak.

The first guy used teflon tape on the male threads... that is not necessary AN fittings will be leak free if installed correctly.

yeah i already read that, but i dont understand how the red piece stays put.

Im guessing you are talking about the red peiece on the outside of the hose? It stays put because you screw it on...
It would help if you took a picture of the line and fittings, so we knew exactly what you had.

Edit:

I wouldn't you teflon tape on anything with fuel.
But, like you said, AN fittings when installed correctly will not leak.

i still cant get the damn thing on. jus the red ends which wont go on the braided hose it jus doesnt seem like it fits.

Bring it to a shop if you can't figure it out.

Oil lines are definitely something you don't want to accidentally half ass
