so an hour ago i went to the store and i heard a scraping noise. i look and my rear driver side brake is stuck and doesnt want to unstick..i bled it and nothing.
what can cause this and how can i fix it..
thanks

You might have frozen caliper slider bolts. Take the wheel off and hit the caliper. most likely have to remove the caliper and replace slider bolts. I had to replace my 95 talon rear calipers.

was the scraping noise coming from the tire skidding on concrete? Or was it scraping as in your pads backing plate is wearing metal on metal with your rotor?, I can see a wheel not spinning if your brakes are grinding.. If not I'd suspect a hose, caliper, or stuck ebrake linkage..

:talon: this is happening to me too. i replaced the cross member about a week ago and i put everything together. i had to get both front caliper brackets from a junk yard because the bolts snapped in the old ones and i didnt feel like drilling it out and re tapping them. and now my rf brakes are laying on the rotor and going shhhhhh all the way down the highway. i cant hear it unless im next to a gurard rail or something but i can hear it. im just going to get new pads and slotted rotors. should fix it. :talon:

i forgott about posting my results on this thread LOL..
so my piston froze and i had drive my car and force it home...
so when i was down the street from my house as i was bout pulling up on my drive way, my car just dropped to the ground:barf:.
i got my jack and jacked it up. Since i was driving it while the piston was froze, it caused my wheel bearing to break off the its place.

Had this happen to me once. After a long trip I got out and one of my rotors where glowing red. Not good, had to get a new caliper was like maybe $50 can't remember.
