This maybe a stupid question but when you orrder the dsmchips from dsmchis.com do you have to mail your ecu in for that or is it a new ecu that is sent to you?

You have to locate and purchase your own 95 eprom ecu. Then you must get it socketed meaning the ability to take out the current chip in there and be able to snap in your new aftermarket chip in place.

You can do that ^^ and have Jeff, or someone else, socket it. Or you can buy an ECU from Jeff outright that's ready to go.

I apologize for jacking this thread but, I didn't want to clutter this place further by making another thread.

I was interested in buying a socketed ECU from Jeff. Just wondering if larger injectors, 255lph pump, rewire kit and, an SAFC was all that was needed to get the most out of his chips. Thanks guys.

Sounds good if you add a AFPR.

As the others have pointed out you don't usually send Jeff your ECU. You need to have a socketed EPROM ECU to use the chip.

Unless your putting a bigger turbo on the car there isn't usually any cause for larger injectors or a 255lph pump.

The 255 l/h pump will require a fuel pressure regulator that it doesn't overrun with or without the DSMChip.
