Ok, heres the situation.
I have a 95 gsx with rear vented rotors and i am looking to get my brakes done. I already brought my car in to see what i needed. They said i needed new front rotors, the rear rotors turned, and new pads all around. However, they (tuffy) wanted $550 to do this. I said no way!!!
There is no napa around and i am looking to pick up some new rotors from Autozone. Does this sound alright?
For the pads i want to go with some Hawk HPS all around. However, i have found out that they dont make them for the vented rears.
I read that i need the same pads for a 91-93 3000gt VR-4 for the rear, however Hawk doesnt make pads that fit these. Should i just get some cheaper pads for the rear (from autozone) and put the HPS in the front?
Please help me out. I want HPS all around, however that is not an option. What should i do?
