ok so i brought my car to the mechanic to throw on my new clutch since mine was slipping
and to fix a short in the column that kept blowing my ignition fuse....

he messed with the bov and when i got home it was stripped and would not tighten
it is almost all the way to the soft side. it is a greddy type s.

now my car bogs but then the power suddenly returns after aabout 3k rpm

and when i let off the gas to slow down it starts to buck

also the tachometer was bouncing at random times

could this just be the bov being stripped?

any help would be appreciated i need it.

Let us hope it's just the BOV, and your mechanic didn't screw anything up. Get the screw out with an easy out and start by installing a new screw. Then if your problem is not fixed, then blame your mechanic..
