Trying to determine which turbo timer would work best on my DSM the HKS or Apexi

I searched for awhile and could not find anything specific on which turbo timer to get. Should I get the new HKS Type 1 or the Apexi 405-A011? The main issue that I'm struggling with is the auto selection after idling time feature. The HKS is monitoring RPM and vehicle speed while the Apexi is O2. Which is better? And any issue with later down the road mods like speed density.

The other issue is the harness is manufactured by HKS. Apexi states to use a vehicle specific harness, but I have not seen an Apexi one. Can you use the HKS harness with the Apexi TT.
