Yeah for some odd reason my car dosent want to idel right its like after i drive and let off the gas the rpm drops to 0 and car dies. But if i let of the gas and push it before it hits 0 then it will stay at 500 rpms. Is there any way to adjust this and i have a 6bolt swap and alot of vacums have been undone could that cause this problem?

Vacuum leaks can most definitely give you idle problems like you are describing. Why do you have them undone?

I noticed in your profile that you have an HKS ssqv bov. If you have your bov vented(like most ssqv's are) then that will cause the problem your having. Two ways to fix it, the cheap way is to buy a $15 recirculation tube that goes on the end of the HKS bov and puts the dumped air back into the intake or change to a blowthrough set up which consist of a GM MAF a MAFT and modded upper intercooler pipe. But if your BOV is recirculated then you probably have a decently sized boost leak.(I'm going to assume you know how to check for boost leaks, if not just send me a pm and I'll explain it):dsm:

wel the vac lines are pluged off but not hooked up we did a 6bolt swap and i never hooked them back up. The guy i got the 6bolt from said just to elimate the vac lines as they where not needed.

And the hks bov is on my TSI talon i just got the stock bov on my GST eclipse

i will look around for any vac lines that might not be blocked off and plug them up and hopes to solve the problem but werid thing is it just started doing this about a month ago and vac lines has been this way for the past year and never had it died this much during driveing.

I would still say its a boost leak. Could possibly be the stock BOV is broken. When my stock BOV broke i the same symtoms as what you described, the problem with the stock bov is that it can only hold between 11-13lbs of boost(depending on the car) when mine broke it was holding 13lbs pretty well for a while and then kept getting lower and lower until it got to 8lbs, then it wouldnt close all the way causing a huge boost leak which would make the car try to stall and idel real low around 450-500. The way i delt with it until i could get a new BOV was to adjust the ICS(idel control screw) to make it idel around 1200rpm. It still tried to cut off on high rpm stops but not as much as it did before. It could also be vaccum related but since you said it just started a month ago it sounds like a boost leak possibly bov related. Just my .02:dsm:

Its common for the Idle Air Controler to go bad. You should probably check and adjust your biss to idle higher than 500 rpm. Most DSMs idle arround 750. What are you using to tune with?
