On my Talon, the lady whom i bought it from said that she had the cams worked on last year. Should this pose a concern for me? should i replace them? what do you guys suggest?

I would ask what exactly she means by "worked on".
I would guess that the cams were not actually touched but perhaps removed for some other type of repair.

I always suggest replacing cams on these cars. No other type of car I've ever owned responds so well to high lift/duration cams.

I hear alot of people saying they notice a huge gain when they replace their cams... if i pull them out and they are stock then i should get an aftermarket set and see noticeable improvement?
