I was wondering if ACT ever fixed there throw out bearing. I read a few post on here about them failing after around 5000 miles but they were from 2004 and 2005. Also wanted to know how many people on here use and ACT TOB and haven't had a problem with it.

Thanks:dsm:

well i bought an act clutch kit in a beginning of the summer.(4months ago) and i put an ACT TOB took a car for a drive, ran around the block, got back home, jack up the car, took off my tranny and replaced that ACT TOB to an OEM one .and after that no problems at all ;)

Ok, Thanks. I'm getting an ACT 2100 kit installed and i didnt get to choose the TOB. If it does end up breaking after 5000 miles I'll just go pick up a stock one and get that put in. Thanks again.:dsm:

if you look under my posts you will find my write-up on the ACT TOB I just did maybe 8 months ago. I have a failure of seperation of the bearing from the backplate and plastic sleeve breaking also chattering.

I would just trust the OEM one rather then go thru the labor later to find out you got a crappy ACT TOB.
