Need help wtih starting problem

Yesterday I went out to start my car and go do some stuff around town. It was my 4th day off of 4. Didn't go anywhere on the other 3 and went to start my car and nothing. No solenoid click or anything. My starter had a problem before hand with a dead spot. Replaced that under warranty and got the solenoid click but no turnover. Said the hell with it and got an Optima Red Top because my battery was going down hill too. I get a really slow crank over and it barely starts now. Charges at 14.5 V and when off it sits at 12.5 V. Hook up a multimeter and turn the car on the voltage dips down to 8 V. What the hell is going on here. I barely get two starts without having to recharge the battery for some reason aswell. Oh yeah, I also woke up to a flat tire, brand new tires too . good to see $900 go to a headache free job.

I begin by checking the alternator , its not charging the your battery. Just a thought.

dido on the alternator....check the wires on the alternator to make sure they're tight...if they are...take the alternator in and have an auto store check it for you.

check you battery wires, ohm them out to see if you have high resistance.

3x on the alt, the heat from the turbo kills them

Alternator is 3 months old, freshly replaced because I fried the other one due to a small oil leak from the oil pan gasket and the crank pulley throwing it at the alternator. I seriously fried that one it was smoking and probably on fire momentarly as it started to overcharge at 18 volts and blew up my headlights. But yeah I'll check it anyways, thanks guys. Oh yeah did I mention that the starter and alternator are both Bosch? I hate Bosch.

Found the problem, faulty optima red top, guess it was sitting on the shelf too long.
