Grande Prairie,
Hey guys, I seem to have a problem with my 92 tsi awd. Car seems to start fine every time except when it has warmed up. After the car reaches normal operating temp. and I crank it over it starts fine but makes a couple quick grinding noises, as if the starter is still trying to engage. Just looking for some pointers on where to start looking.
Thanks Matt,

Just to make sure I have a general idea. My coolant temp switch could be acting in a way that on a warm start, it send too much fuel (as if it was a cold start) and keeps the starter engaged a a split second longer?
Is this correct, or am I way off?
Thanks for the response.
And just to clarify, it's not a no start, it starts and runs fine, but a slight grinding noise for a split second on a warm start.
