so i got to work this morning, parked it and later in the afternoon moved it so i can get my 1.8 out to go pick up some stuff, around 5ish i went to go start it, and just cranking and then fired up and idling very low, shuts off! i take a look in the oil, ####ing fuel in it AGAIN! i drain it, put new oil in and i took out my backseats (yesterday i found out i had 2 fuel pumps!!!) so i decided to disconect the one on the drivers side, turned on but was sounding like it was gonna die, plugged it in and boom perfect idle, backfire for about 30 seconds to burn about who knows maybe a gallon of fuel in the engine!!! i look at the injectors, number 1 and 2 were barely plugged in so i plug those in, and on the intake is just a puddle of gas, i let it run for 30 minutes, plug in the snap on modis, have it on data mode to tell me whats going on and i give it a couple hard runs, the snap on tells me fuel pump 1 is working and fuel pump 2 is not active, which is weird since it wont run without the other pump on, anyway it was normal, just the annoying idle, the surge wasnt happening today, i pulled up a cylinder 3 misfire, cleared it, never came back on and i parked it in the garage and took the 1.8 home

so my friend says must be the fuel injector o-rings are gone, and its leaking gas, also i get the worst gas mileage ever, you can move the fuel injectors around quite easyily, i dont think thats supposed to happen, and my engine is vibrating like crazy off course, because i need a new balance shaft or something even though i just did all the belts in there

so should i get new injector o-rings or what?

Um I would, also sounds like your Car needs some Like Seruiuos help if fuel is miking with the oil. Macanic maybe?

its at my uncles shop, were thinking the injectors are staying open after the car shuts off so it floods it with gas and then it sinks down the pistons into the oil
