ok i know i have an exhaust leak just before the cat...where the cat connects to the down pipe because the 2 bolts that hold them together are loose so theres like a half inch gap i can see between the cat and down pipe ...my question is...would this cause any problem? i have no cel or anything just the exhaust is really loud just making sure it wont affect gas mileage turbo or anything:|

It won't adversely affect performance. But it can potentially allow some exhaust fumes into the cabin (carbon monoxide) under certain conditions (stopped traffic).

If it's just loose bolts then why wouldn't you just fix it?
