turbo won't boost

Occasionally when i shut my car off and start it up again my turbo won't boost at all. Usually I just pull over, kill it for a few minutes, start it back upand it will boost again. Anybody know what my problem is?

Usually when turbo's wont boost its because of exhaust leaks. Try feeling around the manifold for leaks at idle.

It could also be a boost leak.

Start with checking for shaft play since that is pretty simple.
