Highest priority next mod?
Listing in my profile what I already have done to the car, what would be the next mod to go for? I am ordering a wideband tomorrow, so please don't recommend that because I know I need it. I was thinking of going for a 20g turbo, but that's a bit out of my price range, atleast of what I have seen. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What would be the benefit of that? Not being smart, just trying to get educated. I was also looking at a cooling mist alcohol injection kit. I have it in my SRT4 and love it.

A nice set of head studs will keep your head from lifting off the block under high boost.

I'm running 20 psi currently. Is that considered high boost?

AFPR
You're currently overrunning your stock one with the 255lph pump.

How about upgraded tires/suspension? Or reducing some weight?
Because now that you have a little extra power, why not make it get to the pavement better?

Do you mean like a lightweight drive shaft? I took out the crash bar and some other random shit to reduce the weight a bit.

Well, any FPR is better than none... Fuelab and Aeromotive are the most common and well tested. You NEED an AFPR with that fuel pump, no questions asked...
Headstuds are the next manditory mod for running over 20psi, and as stated before, your head will lift off the block and blow your headgasket due to your stock headstuds stretching.
Not to be rude, but I'm pretty sure your "600whp SRT-4" has ARP Headstuds... Right?!

If you already have a 600whp SRT4, you should KNOW the proper upgrade path for a turbocharged vehicle. Anything we post will be useless information.

Out of your price range because the turbo's too expensive, or out of your price range because you'd need to upgrade your injectors among other things to get a 20G into it's useful range?

The SRT4 is my fathers, though he lost his interest in high performance cars and now it's mine. When my father built the car I didn't have too much interest in cars, but regaurdless I know how to read a dyno sheet. And to answer your question, it's out of my price range because the lowest I've seen a decent 20g is for around 950$. Anything against ebay FPR? I know 99.999% of ebay stuff is shit, but at the prices they have them listed for it's real tempting. Also keep in mind...compare the two engines side to side and they are completely reverse.

Well, I normally recommend ebay stuff like: intake, exhaust, catch cans, maybe intercoolers and radiators, etc. because if they break, nothing catastrophic will happen. (and it's hard to mess up a few pipes). But NEVER ebay for fairly important/complex/dangerous parts like: turbo, AFPR, wastegate, Springs/Suspension, Brakes, etc.
It is way to easy to mess up a simple thing like an AFPR and have the possibility of leaning you out quicker than diet pills. Then you can consider yourself thoroughly f&#*ed.

I agree that a good set of ARP head studs should be a priority and if you are going to be adding those I'd also replace the headgasket with a mitsubishi MLS one. Better safe than sorry. Also, when was the timing belt replaced last? Preventive maintenance should be top priority. You do need an AFPR though, like "snowboarder" said.

Timing belt has maybe 1k miles on it. Replaced it when I added my cams two months ago. So it looks like head studs and an FPR are the way to go next. Definately no Ebaying the FPR then. Any thoughts on alcohol injection?

I also suggest the FPR and make your short ram intake into a cold air. Also the head stud upgrade is something to look into as well as a better tuning device like DSMLink. I know you wanted to know the next mod but your next mod should be more research, if you have a 600 horse SRT you should have a general idea what you need to do next, I'm not being a dick towards you, I know every car is different. A wideband like you suggested is a very good choice.

Thank you. I was thinking of just making my own CAI anyways. I didn't build the SRT or have anything to do with what parts were ordered or such, I just know what my dad put into it and have the dyno slips. Im really new to the whole DSM thing and I don't think it's very logically to "expect" someone to know everything about DSM's because they own a Dodge as well. Each car has a different mod list. For example, SRT need a higher stage engine computer for any mods at all, yet I wouldn't consider a new ECU for my DSM at all. I'd like a DSMLink but I'd rather get something else first. I guess I need to look at the head stud and bolt kit and the FPR next.

Do you even have a logger???
Not sure how you're doing any tuning without a logger and/or wideband o2 sensor. I would get the AFPR, then a logger (possibly DSMlink if you can afford it), then go from there. You need to have all of the basics covered (logger, way to tune, supporting mods, etc.) before you start going faster. Otherwise, you're bound to break something.

I have an apexi SAFC, and a pocket logger. Nothing fancy, just something that hooks up to a PDA, but it works. Ordering the wideband tomorrow.

So do I.
Anyone else feeling a link to a Dyno sheet coming on?
