ok, well i decided to replace all the wires coming out of my cas ( 90 cas) 18 years on set of 18 gauge wires will do a number. so i replaced all the wires, but while doing so i kinda,( i mean barley) knicked the disc that goes inside the cas, now it kinda drags ever so slightly on the black reader thing...will this effect it in any way?

As long as the metal disc isn't completely binding up, isn't distorted and the holes in it are not affected then you will probably be ok. If you marked the orientation of it before removing it then go ahead and put it back on and "clock" it to the previous position and check your timing. Hopefully it won't be jumping around too badly.

If possible, sand/shave down a bit of the plastic housing where it is dragging.
