I just finished putting new axle and a new T Case in the car. Filled tranny and tcase with fluid (didnt drive the car).
The next day I go check every thing and notice a nice pool of gear oil under my car. It seems to be coming from the bolt circled in red.

After looking at that area of the transfer case, there doesnt seem to be any fluid contact there.

I should also mention, that the threads are stripped on the transmission where that bolt would go, so I used a smaller diameter bolt + a nut on the end to put the Trasnfercase.
Every thing seemed tight.

Should I put some RTV around the Transfer case to be safe?

The transfer case is brand new (that picture is just one I found online) so there should be no cracks..
