People advise to tap your boost gauge off your Fuel pressure regulator. Pretty sure thats the best place to tap it. Regardless did you make sure u plugged in the speed sensor on the transmission?

Tap it on the line that goes from your intake manifold to the fpr solenoid mounted on your firewall

i dont even think i have a line going to there
my fpr i have a vacum line coming from the intake manfold to the fpr but i dont think i have any lines going to the firewall does anyone have a picture

yes knowing what year the motor came from would give us alot of help due to it could even be the ecu, coil pack or transister pack.

the motor out of a 91+
the car is a 1990
the ecu is i believe a92 or something that will work for the car im sure of and its ben rebuilt by motorguys garage

I have done a six bolt swap too. I have a plug in my vehicle that is hanging above the transmission that is an o2 sensor. THat's what it's labeled anyways. I'll go home and take a picture for you. I'll take a pic of where to hook your Boost gauge up to as well. Like they said; the best spot is to T- off the line going from the the Intake to the FPR

sorry I had to unexpectedly go out of town for the past few days. I took the picture last night but I didn't have my chord to hook it up to the comp. I'll post it when I get home from work this morning!

Sorry for the delay.
4.5 hours it'll be up :)

As for the boost gauge. Here's a pic of where the ideal spot is to T it to.
And for the plug; The o2 sensor Plug I mentioned is not the same one, Back behind the motor like in your picture is the knock sensor, see if that's plugged in. If that's not it, today is my car day so I'll be in the garage and if I spot similar plugs I'll take a snap shot of'em
