Quick question. With the master cylnder rod disconnected, and i push the clutch pedal down it sticks to the floor then as i start to lift it up about half way (3'') from the floor its snaps back up is this normal? For it to stay sticking to the ground with nothing hooked up?

Yea ive been there. Im just trying to find out why its engaging so close to the floor. i have a brand new master and slave with new fork/pivot ball/tob and also the masters all the way out and the extended rod on the slave and it still does it. Shimmed the ball with a washer and still the same. Is it just becuase its a 2900 and it engages that close?

There are a number of little detail changes on the 2G that "civilized" it some over the 1G. The hydraulic accumulator, the slave cylinder return check valve, clutch assist spring, and the intake muffler are a few things that were put on the car for no other apparent reason.
