After replacing my stock exhaust with my 3in turboback from ssautochrome, I feel the need to change my muffler, after a while I just get annoyed of driving normal and the loud sound inside the cabin :(

So now Im looking to change the muffler to dual tip Magnaflow since I want a stockish look. After checking out the Magnaflows Im undecisive, I know for sure I want a polished stainless look with dual tips. My first question is whats the max length that we can fit for a muffler? My current muffler is 14in in length, magnaflow carries 14in, 18in, and 22in that have 3in inlet, I think 22in is out though, but what about 18in? will that fit?

They have 3in inlet and 3in dual outlet part # 14298 I wanted bigger outlets to fill out the space, but it is 18in in length. They also have part # 14221, which is 3in inlet and 2.5 dual outlet and is 14in, but I dont know if the tips are too small and separated. I wanted them close together, but in the pics the outlets look separated. Would tips help them look together like this pic?
