ok i just installed my megasquirt and im using my factory ecu to run the spark, but im not getting any spark, the coil is getting power i tested with a wire tester and all the wires are getting power, i believe the wires are pin2 and pin 3 and a the asd relay wire are all getting power when you try to crank the car over. megasquirt is controling fuel and the fuel pump turns on and is running when you crank, i left the wastegate off and i can spell gas coming from the exshast manifold. so its getting fuel, so i need help.

How did you hook up the MS? did you just parallel your CAS signal wires? Im asking because if the megasquirt is running the fuel pump then it most likely is seeing a rpm signal and so should your stock ecu.

im not sure what cas is, but i cut the fuel pump wire from the ecu and ran it to the megasquirt, the crank postion is still conected to the ecu and i jsut spliced the megasuirt into it. so yes both the ecu and megasquirt see the crankpostion. and the ecu is still controling the spark if thats what you mean

Sorry CAS= cam angle sensor. just for test purposes id disconnect the MS and see if your spark comes back if not then trouble shoot it from there..... cam sensor , crank sensor , ecu , ignitor , coilpack, wiring.

what i have done so far is when you crank the car over all the wires have power going through them, i used a wire tester. im just not getting any spark. its werid. did i diconect something form the ecu that i was sopossed to leave hooked up or something

i am having the same issue. But I am using a new MSD coil pack. Neither the old coil pack or the MSD pack create a spark. But there is power to the coil pack. Any ideas?
