I was pulling out of work the other day and my car died in the middle of the road, so I coasted in the gas station to check it out. Everything looked ok so I tried to start it up again and nothing. We pushed my car back to my shop and I started taking things apart to see what was wrong. Much to my surprise I found the balance shaft belt snapped and working it's way around the timing belt. Luckily it knocked out the crank position sensor and I couldn't restart my car or I would've grenaded the motor.

I LOVE MITSUBISHI'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The timing belt was still 100% intact and didn't even skip a tooth. All the marks line up. It sounded good when cranking, I think I finally got lucky for once except my boss ordered the wrong crank sensor and I'm supposed to go to Lebanon wednesday. If I get the sensor tuesday and everything goes as planned I should have an 11.80ish time slip or a shattered drivetrain on wednesday.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII know! I was actually going to do that, but Im just going to save up for an SBR longblock in the spring.
