Hey guys,
I couldnt post this on the Fuel and managedment forum because i dont have enogh posts.

I am just wondering if anyone here is using the aem tru-boost controller with a GT35R on a 2.0. I would like to know at what duty did you set your tru-boost to get 24psi.

I posted this on the AEM forums take a look, It explains the troubles i am having.

Hey guys, O.k this one might be hard to explain but i i will try my best.
I have had the tru-boost boost controller for a while, I do quite a few time attack events a year, and i have used the tru-boost for almost four events with out any problems, untill the very last event.

A little background on the car: Its a 95 eagle talon, GT35r turbo, AEM ems, tru-boost, AEM uego Tuned at 24psi=460awhp on 94oct.
the car was built by my self and dyno at Magnus by Marco.

Now the problem: I had the boost duty set a 56% on the tru boost which gave me 24psi(so it read), and the car was pulling amazingly and with not problem just like in the events prior to that., But In the very last few laps i would be on WOT and the car would just feel like it hit a wall, At first i thought it was fuel cut, but after checking the logs it look i actually was running reach or at least no lean.

Anyways i been driving the car without abusing it for the last couple of weeks, I went back to magnus and Marco logged it and after few passes we turned down the duty to 43% and he told holly S**** you just hit 31psi , So even with something cutting off i manage to reach 31psi at only 43%duty.
So he told trow that crap and buy a manual boost controller and an analog boost gauge, but i thought about giving this controller another chance since it might be something else.

So today i grabed the tru-boost directions an and went over them just to make sure that nothing somehow had been moved while i was laaping, And no, everything was fine, So i went on the highway for some pulls and turned down the duty to 23% did my pull and surprise!! no fuel/boost cut then i looked at the peak and hold and said 21psi. the i went to 24% duty and it gave me 23psi. WTF its going on??? i have a brand new engine that i just built and i dont want to blow it up just for an stupid gauge or selenoid.

I need to now: why when i had the duty set at 56% gave me 24psi and now for some retarded reason i had to brought it back to 24% duty and its giving me 23 psi which fluctuates to however it likes, When i didnt even touched the damn thing.

I am gussing the selenoid its gone??? but i wont put any words in your mouth please help me find out what the problem is here.

Thanks,

-Manuel
