My new intake

I recently bought a brand new injen style intake for a good price on Ebay for $24.99+$22.99 for shipping. Can't beat that! It came with a washable filter, Blue Couplers (Going to order Extremepsi couplers), Clamps, Metal intake pipe, and 2 different size filter adapters. One is for the supplied filter and the other is 3" inches I think.

I didn't use the supplied filter that came with the kit, I used my K&N FIPK. I was reading something about how the FIPK and the Injen pipe or Injen style pipe are a PITA to put in. So i gave it a shot. It did take like 10min or so for me to figure out how to install the two into my car. I put the pipe in first then slide the FIPK in. I used the same bracket that came with the FIPK and installed it where the plastic UICP bracket mount is (close to the passenger fender). So far, it looks great

I will be taking a picture of it later today to show you how it looks like with a FIPK.

I'm betting home depot.
That or the intake came with it.
But I've seen hoses like that at HD.

A lot of people use the flexible hose that is used for vacuums. Just cut it to size and bend.

I know for sure he got that recirc. hose at HDR (Home Depot Racing)!

I bought a length of the same one! it's in the section with all the other clear seethrough tubes. cut your own length.

Didn't have to use it after all though.

Thanks alot, Im going to have to check out home depot then. I was using the stock rubber hose to recirculate but now with my new short route intercooler piping the hose just wont work. Right now I am using a spare piece or radiator hose to recirculate but it's so hard to bend that to the shape you need, thats why Im looking for a flex type hose. Thanks again.

You should see it before my dad fixed it up. Wires were scattered everywhere, engine and engine bay were covered in grease/residue, missing parts, missing interior parts. Thank the DSM gods for ebay, home depot, and special thanks to Chilton's repair book.

Only thing I regret is buying an OEM radiator.. But hey, I didn't think of it, I just wanted the car running at the time.

I drive my car like 4 days a week. Other then that my Subaru GL 4X4 is daily driven.

Looks a lot like the one I got off ebay. I just wish mine looked that good. Everything on my core support is all pushed back because of a wreck and now nothing fits or looks right. Yours looks great.
