I just bought this 95 gst from soe gut for $500 bucks. Yea a steal. But there one problem. When i accelerate the car feel like it want to turn off. The on way it doesnt do that is if i accelerate from 3500RPM. It only happen around 2000Rpm and it jump really hard as if i was just learning had to drive stick.Ok let me tell you alittle about the car. It's a 95 gst manual, has a bov turbo xs, a muffer, and a oost controller. Now when i first got the car I had new plugs put in, oil change, new plug wires. I relly dont know what can be make this happen but i would be happy to hear some tips. Thanks Guys

That would be a boost leak. The pipes between your turbo and intake manifold are not sealed. Search for boost leak and perform a boost leak test. Its no big deal really.

yea dude and i just gut the car i will change it. But you don't have to jump on here with words like that at all.

You said you changed the plugs....What plugs and what gap? NGKs ONLY and gapped at .028...besides that, listen to what everyone else has said.

yea ngks. so yea i guess i will do it LOL. everyone says the bottom nut is a pain LOL anyone taking it off.

I would say boost leak, ignition timing, and how the boost controler is hooked up is the first thing to make check. I havent tested a dsm that didnt have a boost leak and bad ignition timing. Check and fix all boost leaks first then set the ignition timing, then go from there. Also, check for uncensored air getting into the intake passed the maf sensor. I had a similar problem before, my bmw ran like crap when I forgot to hook up a vacuum hose, I almost didnt make it to school.
