Ok i just got done installing my punishment racing fmic on my 1Gb talon. Not too satisfied with the fitment but i can deal with it. Now the bumper cover isnt clearing the intercooler worth a crap! Does anyone know if i the eclipse bumper will clear it or what could i do?

Well i completely eliminated my crash bumper. Just having issues with the bumper cover. it looks like aSs, nothing lines up worth a sh^t!

Also where do i run the line for the wastegate since the new j-pipe doesnt have the nipple?

I am not sure but you may need a race bumper which supports the shape of the cover in the same way the crash beam does. Of course it has zero crash protection. We basically had to shave the plastic from the inside out until it all lined up.

I had to shave my bumper a lot, but I think I'm just gonna cut the end of the pipe down that comes out to the intercooler inlet on the driver side so it will fit flat. Also for the vacuum source, you can either cut the nipple off the stock j-pipe, drill a hole and jb weld it into the new j-pipe, or get some other sort of fitting, like for the home-made boost controllers, and do the same thing.

If you shave the bumper do it little by little, or as much as you feel good with. You dont want to rush it and take a chunk out off it. loo. You just need enough so theres minimal space between the bumper and the intercooler.
