Well I'm having quite the awesome time installing my 14b, the guy who wrote the tutorial did it in six hours and I'm going on a week right now. So I got the t-25 out and took off both o2 housings, but the 2g o2 housing did not bolt up to the 14b. There is no bolt in the exhaust side of the turbo like there is on the t-25, and you can't fit a bolt into the one hole where the bolt went on the t-25. I guess maybe I could go get a shorter bolt.

So I figured f**k it I'll just put the 1g o2 housing on, and I did, but now I can't get either of the o2 sensors out. I was trying to put the 2g sensor in the 1g. I bombarded them with pv blaster and stood on the wrench trying to get them off to no avail. Thoughts?

Put a bolt through the hole in the o2 housing that is difficult to get to BEFORE you install the o2 housing itself. The bolt itself will be too long to put into the hole once the housing is installed, hence the reason there is a stud there from the factory.

If you're having that much difficulty removing the o2 sensors from either housing, chances are the threads are going to come out with the sensor whenever you finally DO remove them.

I was planning on doing that tomorrow. I'd rather use the 2g o2 housing if it's at all possible though, thoughts on that?

Unported, there's not much difference in either housing. The main reason 2G o2 housings are so popular is:

- The 2G housing is thicker at the base allowing them to be ported much further than a 1G housing without cracking.
- The 2G housing's wastegate passage is a little larger and less restrictive being that the o2 sensor is located in the bottom of the 2G housing.

I'm at school right now which is why I don't have a vice grip, I went to Advanced Auto Parts and the guy got both of em off with an impact wrench. I went to one hardware store to try to find a threaded stud but they didn't have that size. So I just left the 1g housing on there with the 2g sensor.
