can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to install my tdo5 16g turbo?
or does anyone have instructions?
bought mine brand new and did not get any.

1st get a dsm (thats if you want to go fast)

2nd Its just like installing any other turbo on you Honduhhh you will have to have a manifold with a mitsu flange.

EDIT: I hope you know im messing with you. didnt want to hurt your feelings.

Do you have a dsm,

if not...

1. Sell honduh
2. buy a sweet 1g
3. follow the tech guide and beat every honduh...evar.

in the words of a guy on here, "dsm's have one thing honda's never will... torque."

You need a exhaust manifold flanged for mistu turbos (aka 16G). Then you need a O2 housing ($50 off eBay). Bolt it all up and then you need a down pipe. If you can find one that will fit you car/turbo, all the power to ya but most likely you will need a muffler shop to make you one.

The VFAQ has some articles on how to install a 16g, albeit on a DSM. I don't imagine that installing it on a Honda would be all that dissimilar. However, if the Honda has a MAP sensor, I believe you'll need a Missing Link to make things work correctly. I may be wrong on that, though.

OP, please remember that this is, for the most part, a forum that cares only about DSM's. As you can see from previous posts, not many DSM'ers have much respect for other cars, notably Hondas. As such, they probably can't give you the detailed installation instructions you will need. For that, it really would be best to take your questions to a dedicated Honda tuning forum. I realize that DSMTuners is one of the best places for technical information, and that's why a lot of non-DSM owners turn here for their hard-to-answer questions, but for a car-specific installation question, a car-specific forum would be best.

sell that 16g to a dsm owner, or trade it with them without any extra cash, for their t25, because it would be more suited to what your motor will be able to handle, and it spools up quicker.

Yup... t25 would suit you better, you will NEVER max out that 16G on a civic so trade it in for a t25...... I happen to have a spare one in case you're looking ;)
