Is this a1994 eclipse 2.0 turbo???

Well i know nothing about eclipses and i had one but im buying another cause my other one wasnt worth it the one im looking at is said to be a 1.8 but i looked at it and it said dohc so i know it has to be a 2.0 because the didnt have a 1.8 dohc it was sohc but it sais 2000 on the the engine dont know what that means could this be a turbo i didnt get a good glimpse of it

its not a 1.8 beacuse they were not DOHC, It is more than likely its a 4g63 Non-turbo
(4g63) they look very similar to the turbo engine
The turbo engines code is 4g63T (T stands for turbo)

1.8L SOHC 4G37 engine...

2.0L DOHC 4G63 engine. If it has a turbo in it, then it is a DOHC 4G63T

What is the cars model. gs-t, gsx, tsi, tsi awd, rs-t, rs-t awd. All turbos. if it isn't that then it is n/a

check the 8th digit of the vin. r 20nt u 20t, or look for the turbo

They don't. All 2.0 liter Lasers have RS on them, no "T". The turbo Lasers have stickers that say "Turbo Intercooler" on them.

Check for the factory boost gauge on the inside. I am guessing it's a 4g63 non turbo if the only markings you're seeing on the car are reading DOHC

Also, non turbo's the intake piping goes from the intake manifold to the left of the engine bay to the filter like the top pic

Turbo's piping go from the bottom of the exhaust manifold like in the picture then have a filter on the end like the bottom pic. In case maybe it was a turbo swap.

The 2000 is just in reference to the 2.0L displacement of the engine.

even if it is non turbo hahah since it has an engine 20000 miles i would plan on modding it out without changing the engine can i buy a turbo kit and install it without changing the internals and what other mods do they make?
