I have a built 2.0 six bolt 1ga awd.
i have a full 3''in. apexi n1 exhaust with no cat and a small resonator right now.

but i have plans to do a custom 3in. side exit downpipe through the passanger side of the front bumper.

i have a basic idea of how im gonna do it.

But i wanted to know what everybodies thoughts were on this and if any additional ideas on how to do it, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED.......thanks,
Jon.

Just curious why the passenger side? Would it not be shorter to go out the driver side? Make sure to post LOTS OF PICS. I think you know your not gonna pass inspection already right?ROFL

Have you looked into an external wastegate dump to the drivers side... It is a little more practical, as 3" is going to be pretty tough to fit the the side. There are quite a few external dumps through the bumper around...

If you do an open exhaust like you said, be prepared to what sounds like a massive boost leak once the wastegate opens, I personally think it would sick.

i dont have to worry about inspection in good ole indiana LOL.
also the 3in pretty much touches my oil filter housing if i were to go on the drivers side and i found a vetter route on the passanger side plus i figure the extra bend i need to do it on the passanger side will give me slightly more backpressure....
also can you guys post some pics....thanks
