Will running the turbo s cooling system straight to the radiator work???

I accidentally broke the banjo bolt on the turbo return line for the cooling system and plugged it through the radiator drain plug a little later I lost boost and the turbo makes this clicking sound from what I'm guessing is the exhausts side is this the cause of my problem was not considering this to be a permanent fix only temp let me know what you think.

The front barb output attach left on to a lower branch.
