Simple as that, OBX or Glowshift Gauge Bezel? Both can be shipped to my door for about $40.

The OBX ones looks like this...

And the Glowshift looks like this (but black)...

But does anyone have pictures of their install? I've heard that the cups aren't deep enough. Have they fixed that problem with either of these yet? I'm putting a mechanical Glowshift boost/vac gauge and a electric Glowshift oil pressure gauge in them. Also, how's the visibility of the two gauges? Right now I have my boost gauge stuck with double stick tape to my dash and the oil pressure one is on it's way. I'd like to do a clean install before I start showing my car.

And if you have the Glowshift triple gauge pod, I'd like to hear about that fitment too. That's my other option.

I would do a pillar pod if I were you. I have heard from a friend that with those gauge cluster pods, depending on which gauges you have, you might have to do some trimming to the back of the gauges them self. Both glowshift and OBX make single, dual, and triple pillar pods. I have a triple gauge pod from glowshift and I got it for $45 shipped to my door. Just something to look into.

I've installed a bunch of glowshift stuff, gauges, replacement pillar pods, and these bezel pods.

I've put in 2 of the bezel pods 2 different cars, 2 sets of gauges.

First is with glowshift's own gauges.

how did that fit? it fits well. not great or perfect, but well enough where I don't have any complaints. the gauges installed there are glowshift 52mm boost and oil pressure. the boost gauge was fine, but the oil pressure was a bit deeper depth and slightly protruded from the cluster but not too much.

next up, we have same cluster, but some cheap ebay gauges, nice design on the gauges, its 60mm, BUT has 52mm mount! with convex lens, also boost and oil pressure. btw for those wondering, i have greddy gauge i compared it to, and it was dead on. anyways on to the subject matter..

and no they no longer sell the gauges on ebay anymore. they were only $20 SHIPPED, came with all fittings, the oil pressure is electronic, comes with sender unit. the packaging of the gauges looked near identical to glowshift and prosport gauges...... hmmmm OEMed from same factory? :)

anyways hows the fitment with this setup. this setup actually fit much better. Why? because the depth of the gauges were not as deep as the glowshift.

for any gauge you put, you have to watch out for the orientation of the fittings on the back of the gauge because if it is touching the actual cluster, that means your gauges will stick out more, and you will see the face does not sit with the cluster bezel, making it look damn crappy cheap and wack! as you can see the above setups do not do that. but you have to pick your gauges wisely.

there really is no room to mount deep gauges, so watch out for that, esp if there are a bunch of fittings in the back of the gauge. a member here went to the extreme and actually cut the actual clear cover of the cluster so the gauge would go through and sit flushed. i was not about to do that though.

EDIT, HERE IS A TIP. the glowshift gauges come with those gauge visors which are optional, if you want better fitment, my advice is to use them. They act like a spacer, so it sits more flush and cleaner.

oh yea, these guage cluster bezels are all the same. At the time I bought them, glowshift was the cheapest, esp since I was buying gauges from them to begin with to save on shipping.

BUT, look on ebay, if you see it cheaper, its the same crap. glowshift pillar replacement pods fit great too. Check my review on the gauges and the pod in the reviews/writeup section.

Shortly after B&M brought out the original bezel pod, in their usual high-quality and higher-priced version (theirs was $60, and made of injection-molded plastic in the original texture of the factory part), OBX came out with their knockoff made from formed sheet plastic. It has the usual grainy texture of that sheeting that's used for so many cheaper pods, slightly striated. Installed, you'll never notice the difference. They went for $15 on eBay when they came out.
I can't see from these photos is these are injection molded or not.

Nothing's been done about the shallow mounting depth. Some gauges take a fair bit of fiddling to get them to fit well.

i just installed the OBX today.... it is NOT the same fit as OEM even though it says it is...... there are no clips for the bottom of the bezel, only 2 screw holes where the OEM ones go.... also if you are using autometer gauges for this... the screw threads to hold the gauge in there are too long, you need to modify or dremel it for a good fit.... im wishing i went with the autometer bezel... its 25 bucks more but it is probably WAY BETTER Quality then the OBX or glowshift....... speaking of which dont get anything glowshift, they suck.

I'll give you a tip Urbansmoker1, if you see a post by Defiant, you may want to check the date of the thread ;)

I had one from glowshift, nice piece may I add, but with how I held the steering wheel, and the height of the steering wheel, I could not see the gauges very well. So instead I went with a custom 2 gauge pod on the steering column.
