Got a 99 gsx that i have a huge problem with sputtering and bogging when i step on the throttle hard.. i have a feeling its over boosting and hitting fuel cut.. the manuel boost controller seems to not be working so someone suggested hooking it up to the stock boost control. im going to try doing that. but really if someone could tell me exact plugs and wires i should use that would be great. and where can i get a nice high flow cat? trying to finally get this car on the road and running decent.. the turbo is a 16g turbo. I have a fpr and i have it set at 42 base fuel pressure and it drops to 32 at idle which is good i think because i pull 20 inches of vacuum at idle.. can anyone answer these questions i have? or comment on other things i could try?

Just a quick question do you have a boost gauge?, if not that should be your first mod. Personally before i turn up the boost at all id buy a pocket logger just to see exactly how the cars running make sure your 02 isn't shot ect. Until you get your boost gauge i would hook back up your stock boost controller.

As for plugs and wires advance or auto zone i use Excel plug wires and NGK Bpr6es is the part number for the plugs.

As for the High flow cat
Slowboy Racing, Inc. :: DSM :: Exhaust :: Exhaust Components :: Cat Conv :: 3" Magnaflow High Flow S.S. Catalytic Converter

Hope this helps
