[RESOLVED] can i take off the exterior parts off of the gst and put them on the esi?

ok well i got a 2g eclipse gst and the car is pretty much dead (motor, tranny, chasies rusted through, ect.) but the body is in good condition and still looks good. i have found a eagle talon
esi that i may end up with but it has some body damage. my question is.. can i take off the exterior parts off of the gst and put them on the esi? will it all fit together? thanks!

Yes you can swap body parts between the two.

well.. im kinda just being handed the 98 esi and it needs some body work.. so i wanted to know if i could just transfer the body parts over insted of getting the bad looking parts painted. how much of a pain is it to swap all the body pieces over? thanks again

You can swap them but you will have to do some drilling and make sure you get all the clips and little parts because esi don't have any side skirts or anything and the gst stock kit has three pieces on each side.
