no power to tps

Okay need help again!! Where does the tps get power from? Is it the Ecu or from another power source? I'm getting a no power to the tps! The reason i'm curious about the ecu is I was sent a 91 and was told it was a 90 so ran it a month before I found out so the pins to the ecu were not switched. So could my ecu be bad now and causing this or is there somewhere else I should be looking?

What is the car doing that makes you think its the tps? I know that the CAS for 90 and 91 is different and a few other things.

It is giving me a cel 14 code. I've replaced the tps with a used one off ebay. I checked it out its okay but getting no 5v power to the tps

no power to it so I can't adjust it. no power in so now power out to adjust

Its supposed to be adjusted with a volts meter. theres a vfaq on it. I would think the tps would be bad if no voltage goes threw it.

well you got 5v going to it from where not sure then it sends back power to the ecu depending on the amount going back changes ecu will make the changes. I believe this is correct. but it needs power going to it (5v) before it can send power to the ecu. which is how you adjust it the power going back to the ecu should be .48-.52.

Well looks like the computer is the problem! I got capacitor's leaking. So I will change that unless any one has another idea?

Got my old computer in and not tps cel!!! Now all I have to worry about is fuel cut! Does any one know how a maft will do with fuel cut? Does it tell the computer everything is good and i have enough fuel to cover the boost? Any oppinions or ideas let me know
