Evo valve cover.

Does anyone know the color code for the evo valve cover? If it has one?

I have tried to find the exact color and never found it. Even called the dealer and they couldnt find it. I just went to oriellys and found a color that matched it. They mix it up and put it in a can. It is an enamel and is harder than normal high temp spray paint. Just sprayed some high temp primer, sanded it smooth. Has lasted a year without any pealing or chiping. The color I used was Cayenne Canyon Red off of a 95-01 GM.

that looks pretty good so you just sanded it down and sprayed it with high temp engine enamel?

Its not specifically engine enamel. You pick the color you want they mix it up and put it in a spray can. Its pretty much just like normal car paint. But has very high heat resistance.

were you talking about the newer evo or older evo - i have an evo3 valve cover laying around that i'd sell - then you wouldn't have to paint it!

all EVO 1-2-3 all comes with silver/bronze kind of colour,
red valve covers are from the GVR4 guys
