Hey everyone, new to the site sorta but I need to ask a question i cant get an answer to. I just took a 95 GST that was automatic and made it 5-speed, then did a 6-bolt swap and converted it to a 99, then put the tan leather inside so im almost done. But i have a problem with the tranny. I bought a tranny from a friend thats a local DSM mechanic here in Tampa, FL. Its a FWD tranny and it resembles a 2G tranny but has 1G inserts and a 2G speed sensor. He told me its a 94 galant tranny and i need to know will it work? the cables linked up no problem and the speed sensor just clicked in. so what axles do i use? 2G axles or 1G axles? because 2Gs wont work and 1G axles fit but one axle is too long and the other is too short. what do i do?

Did you figure it out yet. I have a galant tranny in mine. The axles are from a galant the input shafts are smaller from the gst axles.
