I search this topic, but no satisfactory results. The 92 Eclipse I bought squeaks in the rear suspension like the dickens, and I don't know what to do to get rid of it. It is very loud and annoying and can be heard inside as well as outside. i can push up and down on the car and hear it squeak. I tried spraying silicone sprayon the bottom of the shocks and the rear sway bar. What can I do to get rid of the squeaks?

Is it an aftermarket sway bar? I had the squeaks as well. Check and see if the sway bar links are loose or not. Also if it's an aftermarket sway bar, check it's not rubbing against the frame. I had that and I bent the frame a little to stop them from touching. Squeak is gone.
