Hey there guys, i am looking at buying a 98 Eclipse (still waiting for response on trim).

And theres a couple things that needed fixed on it.

1) the Core support needs to be put in. How hard would it be todo that? What tools are Needed? How much and where can i find a core support?

2) Power steering lines need replaces. Just about same questions as above

Any and all help would be awesome thank you!

Whats wrong with the core support now? You will need a drill, spotweld drillbit or a regular drillbit. A spotweld bit would be better though. Just drill trough the spotwelds to get the support off. You need to weld the new support on (you will need a mig-welder for this). First you need to drill holes in the new support for plugwelds, then put the new support on AND MAKE SURE YOU ALIGN IT UP RIGHT. The easiest way is to bolt your fenders and stuff down, just make sure you align it good so the fender gaps and so forth look nice. Then you can weld it on. Smooth out the welds, put a good primer on them and paint the support. You can get a used core support from a junkyard or a new one from Mitsubishi or get an aftermarket one(Keystone or similar company) A mitsu one would be the best. A junkyard is a good place for the power steering lines, or you could buy an aftermarket transmission cooler for your P.S. cooler and that would be even better..
