both windows dont roll down

The windows wont roll down and I dont know why they stopped working. I check the fuses and found nothing yet. Any suggestions.

Take off the door panels and check the connections.

check power and ground to the switches using a test light.. if u have those then its most likely a switch,

Dont forget to look at the window lock button. One time that happened to me. I checked all the fuses. Ended up the windows were locked.

Also in your manual it doesnt show a power windows fuse so i filled every fuse with a 10amp fuse and then my windows worked . Well at least on my 1g.

I took of the door panels off and the connections are good. I dont have a light thing to test for power. I checked all the fuses and the are good. I found a ground wire that came disconnected under the dash and spliced it back together. Its really my friends car. Can the windows open with the motor off and the ignition on.

mostly likely a bad master swicth. I dont not believe it would be a shorted wire because that would have blown a fuse. Try to power up the window manualy. If they both work properly suspect a bad master switch.

Edit: yes your windows will work with the engine off but will operate slower then usaul.

where is the master switch located? I can swap parts from another car.
