I have a 95 gsx and started it up after a complete rebuild and heard a nasty grinding noise. I pulled off the head which is stock except for brian crower 272's and fidanza cam gears. I found the cas broken in half, by looking behind the cam gear, also when i got the head off cylinders 2 and 3 were black and 1 and 4 completly clean. I pulled the intake cam out and found the plate on the back of the gear was loose, does anyone think that wobbling around could have hit the sensor and then stopped 2 cyls from firing?
