Shipping my GSX to Canada!!

Hi all,

Its been a while since I've been around but knowing this great community I'm sure you guys might be able to help me out.

I have finally sold my GSX to a gentleman in Ontario Canada.

The buyer is paying completely for shipping, yet he is new to this and so am I. Is there a single company that everyone uses for the best price? I have sent out about 12 inquiries so far and I'm waiting for quotes. Does anyone know, will they deliver the vehicle directly to his driveway?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

I just imported a car myself (my bros RX-8) from the states to Canada. I didn't use a company to do it. It only costs about $300 bucks. You take the registered papers to customs along with the car. Leave it there for like 4 or 5 business days and then they clear it. Once it's cleared you can just drive it to Canada.

Call customs at the border and they will explain it all to you... it's not hard at all.

Thanks for the help! Though I'm actually not looking to drive the car nor do I have any time.

He understands all the fees involved with customs, safety laws etc. Just not the shipping process. If hes willing to pay for it, that would be the easiest for me. If anyone else has any info with shipping, let me know.

you could try out and see if uhaul will do it, i know there used for self tranportation but i also think they deliver and its basically next to nothing

You're in Chicago... tell him to fly to Chicago and drive it home. It would probably be a lot cheaper.
