engine swap

Wats up everyone... I need some advise... I have a 99 spyder w/ the 4g64 motor in it...Will the 4g63 bolt in?? I know i will have to get a new harnest and ecu... Also can i use my tranny that i have now??? Car is auto now and i am on my 3rd transmission...Can this swap be done w/ ease?

Yes the 4G63 will bolt in.

Get a 4G63 DOHC head, a 2.4L Cometic headgasket, a set of decent connecting rods, ACL race rod bearings, a turbo manifold, 16G or bigger turbo, a chipped eprom ecu, injectors and some Wiseco 4G64 w/63 head pistons.

The blocks are the same casting. The only differences are that the 64 has a 6mm taller deck height, and a 1.5mm larger bore. Everything else is there or can be swapped from a 63 engine.

thanks for the info... was going to turbo the car but me and my girl broke up and i let her take the car... but she is into fast cars and stuff so i will leave it up to her.
