Hey everyone, I'm fairly new to the DSM world and Im a lil mechanicly inclined but Im having some issues and didnt know where to post them all so I'll put them here. First a lil background, I bought a 98 GST Spyda with the pistons gone, I had the whole engine rebuild-

The MODS:
I bored out the pistons to .40, Port & Polished the Intake and Exhaust manifolds, Pair of racing cams at 0 degrees, Added a stage 2 ACT six puck clutch, A walbro 255, Racing intake, MBC, Aftermarket BOV and a Boost gauge(Tapped Correctly).....

The QUESTIONs:
For some ODD reason, when accelerating a lil hard, my turbo spikes to 16-17psi's and on the highway from 18-20psi's at times. Now I've researched and proper psi's on the t25 would be around 15psi. And yes i checked and recheck my MBC, and its all the way unscrewed and still it happens. Second, when hitting 115mph my check engine light comes on, now I'm wondering if its fuel cut? So my next mod is and AFPR this friday. Sorry abou the long post, please help wit advice.......Thanx(Any1 wit knowledge of the MODS I've done)

I think that the spring inside is too short and it doesnt make contact with the screw being that its unscrewed all the way, cause u can hear the ball rattle a lil. Oh and I'm jumpin on a Aeromotive 1000 from MuRraYs, its around $170

Yeah you definitely need the AFPR for the 255. Do you still have stock injectors? I might be mistaken, but it looks like your BOV is not recirculated, you need to recirculate it.

I was thinking of recirculating it but wen i bought the BOV of my friend i noticed it couldnt be recirculated so i figured to try it out like that and the result....no crappy idle and running perfectly fine.
