so i just fixed my waste gate today and that fixed my over boosting problemROFL but then i went on a drive to set my boost and found out that my mbc has no spring or ball in it anymore,it never had one since i got it:notgood: just wondering what i could do if anything till i have the money to get a hallman thanks!:thumb: oh yeah just painted my 1g from shit green to normal color turned out nice i think pics soon to come:rocks::laser:
 
That's a four year old how-to and it still shows teeing into the blow off valve line.
My own personal experience agrees with the new tooner consensus that it is better to get the MBC pressure signal from the J pipe.

And WOW, that is a lot of work for such a cheap piece.

It really wasn't that much work to build and it wasn't too hard. Yes, the diagram is very outdated though. I used to have my boost source from a nipple on the J pipe, but after a few logs with inconsistent peak boost at different RPM levels, I was recommended by jeffgst to get my boost source from the intake manifold.

Another option for the OP is to run no MBC at all and just feed the wastegate from the boost source itself.
