okay so my safc(I) has been reading the throttle way off.

when i start the car its at 0% then the reading jumps about 0.5% per second and when it reaches around 77% it just stays around that area constantly.

i put a brand new TPS sensor in and no good. its doing the same thing

ive checked the voltage and everything..wtf is wrong...

has it ever worked right or is this something that developed over time?

it always has been doing this but i dont think its a bad sensor ground since the reading never reaches 100%. like i said it stays around 76~78% constantly.all other sensors are functioning properly. but i will get my friends logger and do a log and let you know how it turns out

have you checked to see if the plug inside the afc is pushed in all the way?i've seen a few that have been pulled out just a bit and it makes the afc act up.

re-tested the harness and the actual sensor today. tried a third tps and still doing the same thing. :notgood:
someguyonline-im gonna have to get back on that tmw since thats the only thing i havent checked yet

Like a guy above me said, it is most likely a wiring grounding issue. Try to find the ground wires and test them on a known good ground
