fabricate a 4g63 exhaust mani to 420a?

Hi guys i have a 96rs with the 420a motor in it and i was looking into turboing it. I know you cant just bolt up the 4g63 manifold so, I was wondering, since 4g63 exhaust manifolds are so easy to get a hold of could i could take the manifold and cut off the metal gasket or whatever the part that bolts to the head is called, and then cut the same part off another 420a manifold and then weld it together? Do you think i could do it or would it be easier to just make a whole manifold custom? I dont want to run crazy boost through it probably just like 10psi max for a good daily driver. Thanks guys.

Try ebay the runners won't match up and labour will run you a shitload for a useless piece.

BTW you should head over to the 420a turbo forums before you install a kit and raise the boost to 10psi or you're next thread will read "Did I blow my 420a".
